Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe

You’ve heard of turquoise-coloured water but you’ve never actually seen it – until you’ve visited Sunrise beach in Koh Lipe – an island located in the far south of Thailand. The curvy snow-white sands merge delicately into the turquoise-blue, crystal-clear waters of this paradise beach island. Lay on a hammock and relax while sipping on Pina Coladas for a laid-back tropical vibe or head to the opposite side of the island – Sunset Beach – which is perfect for you if you’re a beach-lover cum party-animal!

Kluai Beach, Koh Kood

Koh Kood is Thailand’s fourth biggest island but the scarce population and even scarcer number of tourists make this untouched island’s beaches truly spectacular. One such unspoiled beach is Kluai that is lined with mangroves, boasts a rocky shoreline and exudes a tranquil atmosphere. The fine white sands and strings of seaweed only add to the pristine, exotic feel of Kluai beach. This is certainly one of Thailand’s best-hidden paradise beaches. Chaweng, Koh Samui

Loved Leonardo Di Caprio in ‘The Beach’? Guess which one of Thailand’s islands this blockbuster movie was shot in… None other than Ko Samui! Every year, thousands of tourists flock to Chaweng’s beaches to get a taste of the high-adrenaline watersports, the seven-star beach resorts, the lively night bars and electrifying dance clubs and most important of all, the palm-backed, golden sand beaches that stretch for miles in the shape of graceful, heavenly arcs. Chaweng’s beaches will certainly transport you straight to heaven and you won’t want to come back down to earth anytime soon!

Railay Beach, Krabi

Dive off limestone cliffs into sky blue and sometimes emerald green waters, swim with the reef fishes which include Nemo and Dori, then lie down on the white sands for some much-needed, therapeutic Vitamin-D. Railay beach is loved by swimmers and rock climbers who enjoy the death-defying climbs up Railay’s cliffs that are full of twisting cracks and crevasses, only to fall into a mystical pool, which makes this beach unmissable and one of Thailand’s best kept secret beaches.

Phra Nang, Krabi

Rent a kayak once you’re done with Railay and head straight to Phra Nang. You’ll pass the ‘monkey cave’ which is kind of like passing through a dark, eerie and scary tunnel before it opens up into utopia. This beach is filled with shrine-like caves full of twists and turns leading you to secret spaces which might open up into the sea or maybe even a hidden lagoon waiting to be discovered! Get your torches and helmets ready because Phra Nang, Krabi is certainly going to be an adventure.
