Day 1: Arrival at Capetown
Upon arrival at Cape Town International airport meet and greets by our representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Check in at your pre-booked hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Cape Town is one of the most popular long haul destinations in the world. Due to its unique topography, it is also one of the easiest places in which to orientate oneself as long as you remember that with Table Mountain behind you and Robben Island before you; you are facing north, looking across Table Bay and up the west coast of Africa. Later depart for V & A Waterfront is one of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions; the Waterfront evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: City tour & Table Mountain Tour
Today, after a hearty breakfast, proceed on a guided orientation City tour of Cape Town. Visit Bo-Kaap, the Malay Quarter, so full of atmosphere with its narrow cobblestone streets, mosques notable for their distinctive architectural style and houses that date back more than two centuries. Continue to Signal Hill, winding uphill to Lion’s Head past the domed ‘kramat’ (tomb) of a revered Muslim saint. Drive to the unforgettable Table Mountain, taking a cable car to the top (weather permitting) for sweeping views of the city of Cape Town, 'The fairest Cape in the whole circumference of the world’. Descend from Upper cableway station and drive to the Houses of Parliament and Company Gardens. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Full Day Cape Peninsula
Today is for fun and adventure, as you proceed on a full day guided Cape Peninsula tour. First, we drive down to Hout Bay a picturesque fishing village renowned for its arts and crafts, and for being the centre of the Snoek (fish) industry. Next, cruise to Seal Island (weather permitting) to see the several thousand Cape Fur Seals that inhabit the area alongside the rare Black Cormorant. Then, visit Cape Point, the most southwesterly point of Africa. Then stop at Boulder’s Beach, where a thriving colony of 700 jackass penguins will win you over with their charm. Finally, we visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, regarded as one of the best seven botanical gardens in the world. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Cape Town – Oudtshoorn
After breakfast; depart for the town of Oudtshoorn it is known as the 'Feather Capital of the World' thanks to its huge ostrich industry. Travel via Du Toitskloof Pass to Worcester. Continue through the Klein Karoo to Oudtshoorn, the ‘Ostrich capital’. Visit an Ostrich Farm at Oudtshoorn for the ultimate Ostrich experience. Witness the various stages of an Ostrich’s life – from incubation to adulthood. If you have the courage, you can even ride a full-grown ostrich. Close by there is Cango Caves. This tour delivers a fascinating visit to the Cango Caves, see the famous Cango Caves. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Oudtshoorn - Knysna
After breakfast; depart for Cango wild ranch: human beings have always been inquisitive creatures by nature and at the Cango Wildlife Ranch are sure to quench your thirst for knowledge. Find out how old crocodiles become and why crocs only eat in summer. Let our fully bilingual guides take you on an adventure where you can explore the facts and fiction surrounding these ancient relics of the past. Come and have a close up view of exquisite tigers, deadly jaguars, magnificent lions and the elegant cheetah while your guide introduces these glorious creatures to you. Later depart for Knysna. “Knysna” is one of the best known lagoons in South Africa. Nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean just outside the town of Knysna, the Lagoon is protected from the ocean by the Knysna Heads. The Lagoon's rich marine life includes the rare and endangered Seahorse. Knysna area is one of the most scenic in the world and offers beaches, lakes and lush forests to play. On arrival proceed for the Ferry trail Nature walk at Featherbed Eco Experience: includes boat ride, hiking & 4x4 experience at Featherbed Nature Reserve in Knysna, you can walk around the Knysna waterfront & buy some souvenir. Later return back to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Knysna - George Airport - Johannesburg
Enjoy your hearty breakfast at the hotel; and then transfer to Johannesburg. On arrival proceed for proceed on a tour to Johannesburg Zoo to see the animals and birds. The Johannesburg Zoo has over 320 species of animals. Below are our selected When visiting the zoo please remember to visit these special species and the many other incredible animals. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Game Drive & Shopping
Very early in the morning take you packed breakfast at the hotel; depart for morning game drive at Plumari game reserve. Later depart for shopping at Sandton shopping centre. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Depart Johannesburg
Enjoy your hearty breakfast; transfer to O. R. Tambo International airport for your flight back home with wonderful memories.
