On arrival at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, Meet and Greet the Tour Representative and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das, Amritsar is home to the spectacular Golden Temple, Sikhism's holiest shrine and one of India’s most serene and humbling sights. The hyperactive streets surrounding the temple have been calmed to some extent by recent urban landscaping, including graceful pedestrianized walkways, but duck into any side alley and you’ll soon discover Amritsar’s fantastically frenetic old-city bazaars, sheltering a sensory overload of sights, sounds and smells. On arrival in Amritsar proceed to Wagha Border. After visiting Wagah Border, return to the hotel and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar Hotel.
After Breakfast, check out of the hotel and start your city tour visit Golden Temple also called Harmandir Sahib or Swarn Mandir, the most important sikh shrine. Visit Jallianwala Bagh where hundreds of unarmed, defenseless Indians were killed by a senior British military officer, on 13 April 1919. Later Proceed to Dharamsala. It is a place that is profuse with picturesque locations and amazing vistas. You will get a great peace of mind after visiting this place. Dharamshala (also spelled Dharamshala) is known as the home of the Dalai Lama, but the untidy market town where the buses pull in is Lower Dharamshala. The Tibetan spiritual leader is based 3km up the hill in Upper Dharamsala, also known as McLeod Ganj, and that's where most visitors are heading. When people locally talk about Dharamsala, they usually mean Lower Dharamshala. Overnight stay at Dharamshala Hotel.
After the lip-smacking breakfast, get yourself ready for the local sightseeing in Dharamshala as you visit Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Dalai Lama Monastery (Tsuglagkhang) and Cricket Ground (subject to Operation). Later visit the local market. Overnight stay at Dharamsala Hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie. With its plunging pine-clad valleys and distant mountain views, Dalhousie is another of those cool hill retreats left behind by the British. Today it survives as a relatively staid escape for honeymooners and families from the plains. Enroute visit Satdhara Falls and Panchpula. The word Panchpula means five bridges and it is the place where a descending stream flows and feeds several pools. Panchpula is the mainstream that supplies water to the cities of Dalhousie and Balloon. A monument has been built where several streams meet at Panchpula in the memory of Sardar Ajit Singh, who was a freedom fighter and uncle of Bhagat Singh. On the way to Panchpula is Satdhara, a union of seven tiny springs. Upon arrival at Dalhousie, transfer and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Dalhousie Hotel
After breakfast visit Khajjiar. Khajjiar, a hill station in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, is touted as a 'mini-Switzerland'. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with the high-altitude Khajjiar Lake which is surrounded by cedar forest. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop-Khajjiar sanctuary. One can also enjoy various activities like Zorbing, horse Riding etc (at own cost). Overnight stay at Dalhousie Hotel.
